This allows you to use the arm to mount and position accessories such as lights or a monitor onto a cold shoe. Additionally, you can attach the 1/4 Inch-20 end to a cage or other platform with a 1/4 Inch-20 female thread and attach accessories with a cold shoe to the arm´s cold shoe mounting foot.The 1/4 Inch-20 mounting end features an oversized thumbwheel with an embossed pattern for better grip. Both ends of the arm move freely and independently until you lock the arm.
